Ellie Davies works and lives in London, where she has received Master’s degree in photography. Starting from 2008 she had been noticed at such important international photographic contests as: New York Photo Awards, Paris Photo Prize and International Photography Awards. Davies’ works appeared in Lens Culture, Shutterspark, Le Monde and London Independent Photography Selected Artist Showcase. Davies’ approach to the creation of images is distinguished by vigilance and ability to connect professional photography with the reflections on arts’ goals and substance. For instance, Ellie associates her “Smoke and Mirrors” series with a journey to the subconscious. Most of her new works depict the intrusion of human creativity into the pristine nature.
