Pommefritz are Max Boschini and Mauro Manuini. The group started its activity in 2004 in Mantua. Since then they have participated successfully in various biennials in Europe, Asia, South America and Australia, including Cuenca (Ecuador, 2007), Madeira (Portugal, 2008), Caserta (Italy, 2008), Ballarat (Australia, 2009), Liverpool Independents Biennial (Great Britain, 2010), and Photosoup festival in Spain. It is represented by galleries in the USA, Germany, and Poland.
